Tenali Rama Television Series that aired on Doordarshan in 1990s. We enjoyed every bit of it. Kids or elders everyone learn t something from the show. Quite Educative program, interesting stories, wise cracks and stuff like that which entertained us good.
More from the WebTenali Rama was a court-poet of the Vijayanagara Empire in the 16th century. He was one of the the Ashtadiggajas who were patrons of King Krishnadeva Raya. Tenali Rama was known for his wit and a large volume of poetry he wrote in Telugu. His fascinating story was made into a classic TV series on DD, which was immensely popular in its time.
